Selecting “Tracks” from the top menu will go to the Track list screen.
On the Track list screen, you can switch between a user-defined list that displays a list of tracks edited by the user, a track list that displays a list of GPSLaps-defined tracks, and a map that plots the location of each track on a map.
USER DEFINED
USER DEFINED lists tracks edited (or imported) by the user.
TRACKS
TRACKS lists GPSLaps-defined courses by country.
MAP
MAP plots user-defined tracks and GPSLaps-defined tracks on Google Maps.
Track menu
Selecting any track will display a menu about the track.
view measurement lines | Moves to the track details screen, which displays the measurement lines for the selected track. |
edit | Edit the selected track. *Displayed when a user-defined track is selected. |
copy and edit | Copy and edit the selected track. *Displayed when a user-defined track is selected. |
delete | Delete the selected track *Displayed when a user-defined track is selected. |
export | Export the selected track in KML format. *Displayed when a user-defined track is selected. |
Track detail screen
On the track details screen, you can see the track measurement lines.
*On tracks where lap times have already been measured, the driving line of the best lap is superimposed.
Edit track
Clicking the icon in the lower right corner of the user-defined screen will go to the track edit screen where you can create a new user-defined course.
*If you select “create track” from the Lap menu and transition to it, the lap driving line will be displayed on the map.
Tap the icon in the upper right corner of the screen and tap the start and end points of the measurement line to display the set measurement line on the screen.
Multiple measurement lines can be set. After all measurement lines have been set, click the icon in the upper right corner of the screen to display the save track dialog box.
Enter a course name and select either “Save as Circuit” or “Save as point-to-point” to save the user-defined course.
Circuit | The first measurement line set is the start/goal line, and the other measurement lines are sector measurement lines. The lap timer measures the time as a new lap each time the start/goal line is passed. |
Point-to-point | The first measurement line is the start line, the last measurement line is the finish line, and the other measurement lines are sector measurement lines. The lap timer measures the time as a new lap each time the start line is passed. |
